A little about me…

Where have you encountered a place where you felt calm? I imagine that for each of us, it is different. For some, it was a breakfast nook, or a well loved chair, muted by years of sunlight. That feeling of coming home is what I am passionate about bringing to each space I work with.

The way I think of planning out a space is a lot like a good painting or a beautiful poem - a bit of texture, color, shape, and personality, (and having someone can help with small revisions), can make all the difference. I have learned this lesson again this past year, when our own family moved into a home which we are now in the process of renovating. I relied on an architect and designer quite heavily through the process. It is hard to see a space when you are too close to it, and it is a wonderful thing to bring in another skilled eye.

The majority of what I do is staging homes for clients who are in the process of moving, or offering staging consultations as a way to guide sellers through the process. When working with these clients, I am very aware of the stress and ache of what they are going through, and want to ease the burden of moving for all involved. I bring kindness, compassion, an eye for detail, but most of all, reliability to my jobs. I also seek to bring hints of nature and simplicity to my work, and love sourcing art from local artists.

I hope you will think of me for your next project. I would be grateful for the chance to work with you!
